Blogger is more than just a BlogSpot.com address.
Recently, our website design company was hired to build a company website for a landscaping service on the Blogger platform. Normally, we would have done this on WordPress, but the client asked if we could do it on Blogger.

It turns out that the client’s office manager had previous experience using Blogger and didn’t want to have to learn a new CMS. So, we took a look at what we could do to build a company website on a blogging platform that didn’t look like a blog.
The slider at the top really does a great job to turn a Blogger blog into something that looks like a WordPress site. The featured panels also do the same thing.
Overall, we’re happy with the design and so is the client. Blogger can actually accomplish a lot by using Jquery and a lot of fancy CSS coding. We actually found Blogger easier to work with than WordPress, though technically what we did is not something most people would have done with it. But it goes to show that Blogger is still a very highly customizable platform than what most developers give it credit for.
